A Twespians flavoured questionnaire

Feb 6 2012

We’ve been a little quite since the Twespians Christmas party in December of last year. Well, that’s because we’ve been busily working on making Twespians in 2012 a bigger, better and overall awesome-er affair. We’ve got some exciting things in the works, including a last minute fringe event happening in the next few weeks that we’ll be announcing over the coming days…

However, before we kick off properly, we wanted to get a feel for how you guys think Twespians is going… We’ve put together a fairly short questionnaire that will hopefully give us some clue as to what we can do to make Twespians better, as well as providing us with some valuable information when we’re talking to potential sponsors (to make Twespians another level of awesome).

Without further ado, fill in the questionnaire here… Remember, all answers are anonymous and confidential!

Twespians in 2011

Feb 8 2011

Last night saw the first Twespians event of 2011, returning to the Theodore Bullfrog for Social Media Week London. After 5 events in 2010, up to 60 people packed into the venue with a great mixture of new and old faces. Many drinks were had, many people introduced and hopefully some great things will come out of it.

Excitingly, this means that we are finally able to announce our plans for 2011! In 2011 we’re taking Twespians up a notch after the success of last year and making Twespians a regular fixture in the calendar. This means that from march, we will be holding a Twespians every third Tuesday of every second month at the lovely Old Red Cow near Barbican Station (our second home, really).

In addition, we are launching a Side track to Twespians called Twespians Fringe. What the Fringe offers is smaller, more specific events to help you become better arts and social media practitioners. We will also be using the Fringe to launch regionally, with the first regional Twespians happening in 2011. The first of these Fringe events will be a blogger session, with a handful of great speakers presenting some helpful tips and inspiration for anyone who is or thinking about blogging, and will be happening on Monday 21st February. Tickets will be released tomorrow.

So, to recap here are the announced dates for 2011:

Feb 21 – Fringe blogger session (tickets released 8 Feb)

Mar 15 – Twespians (tickets released 1 Mar)
May 17 – Twespians
Jul 19 – Twespians
Sep 20 – Twespians
Nov 15 – Twespians

Thanks and see you all soon!

Luke and Laura
